Biomedical Engineering : UG : Four years
Biomedical Engineering is a discipline of engineering covers a period of four years that focuses on connecting engineering principles to the medical field. Biomedical Engineering is such a wide area, takes classes in a variety of fields. In this programme students also study about biomedical electronics, quantitative and analytical skills required to interpret data acquired and processing of medical data including imaging and enhancement techniques. There will be a rush in future for this course Biomedical engineers are involved in the designing and construction of devices such as cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, artificial kidneys, blood oxygenators, prosthetic hearts and joints. In this course students also learn about advanced therapeutic and surgical devices, computer modelling of physiological systems.
Eligibility : +2 / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Maths as compulsory subjects.
