Aeronautical Engineering : UG : Four years

Aeronautical Engineering is a four year under graduate programme, that comprises of Basic Science courses, Professional Core Courses, and elective courses which could be general electives, interdisciplinary or domain-specific courses. This course blends the designing and manufacturing of aircraft & its parts. While pursuing this course students learn about aerodynamics, structure analysis and thermodynamics along with airframe design, design optimation, fight dynamics and control, fight testing and analysis, computer-aided engineering, aircraft system and instrumentation. The scope of this field is vast and the career opportunities not only exist in design and production of an aircraft but automobile industry, fan industries, turbines, high-speed trains and UAVs also offer a number of great career options. These graduates have a huge contribution in all the fields of engineering wherever there is an interaction of air with the product like racing cars, premium fans, wind mill etc. Indian aerospace industry is at an inflexion point today and is one of the fastest growing industries in the world.

Eligibility : +2 / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
