Aerospace Engineering is a four year under graduate programme which is concerned with the design, development, testing and production of aircraft, spacecraft, and related systems and equipment. The field has traditionally focused on problems related to atmospheric and space flight, with two major and overlapping branches (aeronautical & astronautical engineering). A large part of aerospace engineering consists of mechanical engineering covering a wide range of topics, including computer applications, structure, maths, physics, drafting, electricity, robotics and aeronautics. Aerospace Engineering has a very high demand both in India and Abroad. Aerospace Engineers are responsible for the designing of aircraft, spacecraft, missiles and weapon systems. They are responsible for developing new technologies for use in aviation, spacecraft and defense systems. They also assemble and test aerospace products.
