Sathyabama University, was established in the year 1987. The University offers multi-disciplinary academic programmes in various fields of Engineering, Science, Technology, law, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Management, Arts and Science and Allied Health Sciences. The University was also accredited by NAAC with A++ and approved by NBA along with NIRF overall ranking 51.
Sathyabama School of Physiotherapy aims to import an in-depth knowledge and skill to a students to become competent in the techniques and develop the proper attitude required for the practice of physiotherapy and carry out treatment prescribed by the Physician. The Bachelor degree in physiotherapy is a four year full time academic programme. After passing the fourth year of education the student undergoes physiotherapy internship for a period of six months in various hospitals.
